Dragon Moon May 17, Greenville, SC
It was a perfect sunny Saturday. The Rising Sun Tribe hit the road for yet another fun filled day of workshop & performance. Rick, Reyna & Anjum. Showleh is a great host. Mahsati, as usual taught a great work shop.
Across the street from the workshop & show is an area that has been torn down, and covered with graffiti. The local kids cleaned up a space and turned it into a skateboard and bike park. While have lunch and taking in Urban decay at its best, some of us started thinking “Wow, that would be a great area for a photo shoot”.
After the workshop, the three of us napped on our yoga mats like we were in pre-school. Then we rushed to get ready for the show. We took 5 minutes before the first performance (which happened to be us) and ran across the street for a few pics. But if you know me, you know that wasn’t enough for the picture hound that I am. So we ran back over during the intermission.
Check out the pics! And look at all the cool graffiti. The kids in the background just added to everything. And when you are done looking at the pictures, check out the video. By the way, if you weren’t at Dragon Moon, you missed a great show. “Little Egypt” was the best!
